Platforms and operating environments

 

The BOMapp application works in two different ways:

▪Locally on your computer

or

▪In a web browser.

 

In the case of a local application, the user gets extended capabilities that allow a wider use of the software packages, while the web browser based BOMapp allows easy and simple sharing and export of the generated BOM data to a final file.

 

The BOMapp application can work in the following ways:

▪As part of Woodwork for Inventor software – the BOM generator (Woodwork for Inventor license is sufficient).

▪As part of the JoinerCAD software – the BOM generator (JoinerCAD license is sufficient).

▪As a preview or Lite version with basic features in a web browser. It allows viewing, editing the BOM header, exporting and sharing.

▪As an independent application that does not require a CAD system. In this case, a separate license is required and previously generated .wbom files.
